There is an influx in opportunities to work at the office in the post-pandemic future. Through interviews, the worst day at the office starts with rain.

Bella is a salad spinner for umbrellas. Peddling a few times increases centrifugal force and causes the tray inside to spin and shed away raindrops. By drying your wet umbrella when entering the building, Bella prevents the damp and slippery floors and umbrellas from being stolen. It is a hassle to take care of wet umbrellas when they enter the office. It is tricky to dry umbrellas. Umbrellas on the floor or in the communal space can make the floor wet, and even worse, increase the chance of getting stolen. Bella was designed to solve these problems.

The Space Between : Designers focus on people's obvious pain points, which are usually very large issues that would fundamentally change people's experiences or lifestyles if solved. Bella does not radically change people's lives or make the world a better place. Instead, it focuses on small problems that people are unaware of daily. This product solves those small challenges and makes people realize needs they were not even aware they had. Paying attention to tiny details in a daily experience significantly expands design opportunities.
