This is a product that I designed for the Rebuilding Exchange (RX) to offer as a project to be made during one of their woodworking workshops. RX wants to grow their audience for their classes, and their audience is looking to make end products that are multi-use, easily transportable, and fit their lifestyle. To cater to the pet owners in the audience, I created this convertible table-gate. Decorative “dog/ baby gates” that match home decor are extremely expensive and are inconvenient to stow away when they are not in use. This table-gate unfolds as a gate and can be folded into a table stand with a detachable table-top. The table-top can be used as a centerpiece when disconnected.
